Would anybody use headphones with a 2way radio built in for detecting with others, seems it would be nice when split up so you wouldn't have to stop detecting to share what your finding. I wouldn't think it would interfere at least while in receive mode, it could just cut out one speaker for the radio and maybe have four or so channels just in case your on a big group hunt. This way you never have to take off headphones which you might not hear a regular 2way radio with headphones on, just wondering if this sounds like a good ideal to others. HH

I would think with as small as they can make things now somebody hasn't incorperated a two way into a set of metal detecting headphones, I'm sure they would cost a little more and a little extra circuitry if they used the same speaker that would have to cut out the detector input while receiving.
