Hello,everyone.
Hope this finds you all safe and sound.
I live in Colombia, and own an Excalibur and a Explorer XS.I have a charging question for this Bat.
My Excalibur 1000 bat gave up,and I am building a way of using the Explorer XS Bat to use, until this Corona Passes and things open up.Right now we are the longest locked down Country in the World,it's terrible.

The batt. is a Ml3100 from RNB Innovations. My question would be.Can I charge this Batt without using the regular charging Port? Could I connect the Charger directly to the Neg. and Pos. output Terminals ? Thanks for any help.

I've never used the RNB battery. But think it is much like the standard Minelab battery. The Minelab battery has a current limiting circuit built into the charging port. Yes, you can charge the pack directly though the output terminals. Can use a charger with a higher mv output for faster charging.
I had a "special" charger, used the standard battery pack loaded with rechargeable batteries and charged it directly through the voltage output contacts.

Hello,Jeff, and thanks for that. The more I learn about batterys, the more confused I get.
I don't understand why Industries can't make us some AA Rechargeables ,with 1.5v....how hard could it be to squeeze .3 more Voltages into those Tubes?
Pic shows my Idea.I will clip the Red and Black Wires and run my EXCAL Power Cable into the Pod.I just need a way of Sealing the other end.
