Here is a copy of e-mail I sent to Garrett. Does any one have input on subject?-------------------------------------------------------------------------On 5-25-05 I purchased my ACE-250. Unit performs excellent.
I went out on a club hunt this past Sunday. A few of the members had White's
PRO XL and the signal from my detector caused inteference with their units
for about 30 feet. I guess they don't have a freq. adjustment control. Is
it usual for my detector to have an output signal that travels that far? Do
you have any suggestions, other than hitting their White's with a hammer? I
want to keep peace with in the ranks of our club. And I want to beat their
pants off with finds....Thanks

My GTI 2500 knocked out the guy next to me in a club hunt last time I went. As a courtesy I changed frequencies as he couldn't. He was using a Fisher product of some kind I think? There were several ACE 250's being used and no one to my knowledge complained about them. A 14 year old with an ACE cleaned up on that hunt. He had 5 out of 12 tokens put out! I didn't have any! ::) JIM

My detecting buds use Fisher and Troys and my 250 doesnt bother them. But let me get beside of another 250 or Bounty Hunter and my 250 goes crazy.
