Periscope Pinpointer

Well, I located one that is new and should have it in the next week or so, just wondering if anyone has used one and has any insight to them. It is a spendy little thing, but I am hoping it will be money well spent!

I go hunting with a buddy that has one and it is quite simply the best detector probe that I have seen. Gotta have one!!

It is a very good investment! I love mine. I got it new in May and it has saved me lots of unneccesary deep digging. It is has to be the greatest and deepest pinpointer out there. 8)

I have owned one for several years and it is a excellent pinpointer. It has both saved me from digging unnecessarily and even more important it has caused me to go on and dig up some finds that were good where the digging was so tough that I would have given up and walked away otherwise. I live in Texas and in my area the gumbo soil is so tough in the dry weather that sometimes you need a bit of encouragment to go on. Last but not least the Ott co. is 1st class. During my many hours of using the machine I have broken the tip twice...(back to the tough soil)on both occasion the machine was fixed fast and for free!!!! The first time it broke the machine was in warranty and the repair was expected, on the second occasion it was far out of warranty. As far as I am concerned the company definitely went a "step beyond". HH Gregg
