on matching the topos to the aerials, delorme mapping programs work pretty good and are not high $...locate your area, pinpoint it on topo, change to aerial and your pinpoint will be pretty much dead on..it also will give you exact {unlike googleearth} gps coordinates and/or compass bearings and distance measurements from easy to recognize on site locations exactly to your pinpoint location.....i've got delorme 7 but i think there are a couple newer...the 7 costed around 60 bucks for the s/e states and is about the same for other areas.......gldhntr
