    A better way:

    Morning everyone,
I guess that you can tell that I have only one leg. It has slowed me down but has not stopped me.
Yesterday I received an email about a New device. It is really amasing.
    Check this out
    TankChair.com
Just think of the ground you can cover with this thing. Doing the beach would be childs play.
What if you installed a wide MD on the front of this thing-Maybe 3 feet across and 1 foot wide and had a smaller hand held MD for pin pointing.
    This device is gas powered.
It is a Wheelchair with tracks like a small dozer. Even if you are not handicapped it would enable you to cover a lot of ground in a very short time. This Tank Chair would be perfect on the Treasure Coast. Gonna get me one Sent off for a price..
Sand dunes would not be a problem and you can take everything you need including food and water. You could even install a beach umbrella. What a way to go.
Will p[ost more as I get the information.

That's awesome...the trick would be perfecting the extraction process...digging and retrieving the item without getting out of the chair. Looks like it would be fun to tool around on.

Might want to do some homework, many Florida beaches don't allow vehicles, you may see it as a wheelchair, but being gas powerd, the cops will probably see an off road vehical on the beach,
I dont know the Ft Piearce/ Sabastian area
This Tank Chair would be perfect on the Treasure Coast
is drivable beach or foot traffic only

This is a fine thin line. NO electric golf carts allowed but as far as electric wheelchairs noone has anyidea-it has never been presented or tried before.
Has anyone even thought about getting a contract to keep the beaches clean and what ever you find is yours.
In the Wabbso area you can dig a big hole as long as you fill it up. I got some ideas on how to do this .

    Re: A better way:

I posted the other day regarding metal detecting from a wheel chair. My Dad has advanced Rheumatoid Arthritis and is in the process of having yet another surgery on one of his hips (6th or 7th, I've lost count). He has always been my hero and has always LOVED treasure hunting. Of course his plan is to walk again (and with his amazing determination I believe that he will acheive that), but I was thinking this chair might make the whole thing easier on him even if he could walk due to allowing him to not get overly tired out. And as for excavation of anything he found....I'd be so happy that he was actually able to go out and MD, I would GLADLY be his digger!!!
