is there and is it affordable

a machine that will tell you what is under the ground say 6 inches, instead of digging all this trash with my md, a machine that shows you a picture of what the md sounded off on would be my first choice, so IM assuming an infra red sort of gizzo mo, am I just dreaming outload or is it on the market yet

THE GARRETT MASTER HUNTER III HAS THE ABILITY TO IGNORE THE TOP 3 INCHES OF GROUND WHERE THERE IS A LOT OF TRASH AND AND GIVE A POSSIBLE READING OF WHAT LIES BELOW THAT 1ST 3 INCHES.

It's on the market. Many of the Minelab's ignor surface iron or any iron for that matter and still report on the gold, silver, etc. All detectors will still pick up pull tabs unless you disc. them out. Then you lose 90% of the gold rings. The Excal will sound off on a gold ring under a railroad spike or a coin inside a steel washer.

im not familiar with using the master hunter, but the surface elimination on the GTI 2500 is essentially useless. i dont know why garrett uses it as a feature on that machine because it just doesnt work. at least it doesnt on my 2500.

I have recently bought a Bounty hunter Quick Draw II (luv the thing)! I have had excellent success w/ it, I have been able to get alot of goodies from 0-12 inches and it is exactly what the screen reads! I paid $170.00 for it on amazon.com.
