Hunting in all metal yesterday and got a deep crappy signal. Took a couple inches off the top and it cleaned up. Never imagine a 1652 Pine tree shilling was hiding under there. I am so honored to have this coin in my collection. Found a 1664 cob close by.
Thank you to Teknetics for giving me the tool to make these amazing recoveries. A dream come true for a northeast guy who loves colonial history

Thanks. The Pine Tree was 8 or 9" and on edge. Not a good signal until I removed a bit of dirt

Well I just wrecked my Truck and am pretty beat up so it's gonna be awhile. But I am researching like a madman and I will be on a quest to top this find one day. Thanks for all the comments guys

Thanks Greaser just happy to be breathing. They make new vehicles every day so alls well. But between this and the freezing temps I may have to wait til spring to find my NE Shilling lol. Good luck to you out there my friend
