So I had re-directed it on a Friday, said it we be at walgreens Monday (that would be the 19th for delivery), it didn't show all last week, Friday a claim specialist said it was lost, so I filed a claim Friday with the place I bought it, then late Friday night Fedex emails me that it will be there Monday - it doesn't show Monday, says Tuesday (today) and it just updated again saying end of business tomorrow. I've talked to Teknetics, they are working on it, but Fedex playing around means I probably wont get a replacement by this weekend - so three weekends shot possibly. I have a guy from Fedex on chat saying its going to be there tomorrow, and its lost, and its not lost. Teknetics is not gonna want to send a replacement until they get this claim done with Fedex probably, and Fedex site says delivery tomorrow still, so they probably arent going to do anything.. So overall the lesson is, don't redirect a shipment. I'll let you know how it goes, just frustrated right now

I probably wasn't the most pleasant person to deal with, but my Liberator showed up today, 21 days after ordering it.

Teknetics was pretty cool about it, since FedEx had told me twice it was lost/missing, Teknetics was all set to make sure I had one by Friday, but the original showed up today so I emailed them, and they literally pulled the second from the shipping area.

I fired it up for a quick little hunt, got a piece of unknown metal - I'll figure it out at some point, and a 1927 wheat penny, which was pretty cool to find in my front yard.

I have a lot to learn on how to use one of these things!

Feel better you got yours, just got a note from someone and I just checked. The Liberator is $299 now......that sucks!

Looks just like my Fisher 4" coil. Why not. They are the same company. Lots of luck with it. I really like mind on the F75.
Sorry bout that. My 4" Fisher is molded in. But First Texas makes both machines.

Wow, I hadn't looked, I thought it was a more permanent pricing, or to move them out for another model (it came out a year ago), guess I was luckier than I thought.

They were 219 at the Tekneticsdirect site. Now they are 299.

But the Patriot is still 400, I paid 650 for my identical F70.

Yep if I was in your shoes as Steve said Patriot $100 more to boot, no brainer.
