Left Hander With Question for Patriot or T2 Owners

I am left handed and swing my detector with my left hand. Been considering a new Teknetics Patriot or T2 metal detector. I noticed the power/volume switch is located under the arm rest on the battery compartment on the left side of these detectors. My question, is the power/volume switch location on these models an inconvenience for a left hander?

If anything more for a right hander! That is most peoples' complaint for the f75 and t2. Their hip always turns the power/volume button down.

That makes sense, hadn’t thought of that. Thanks

I’m a lefty and use a t2. Love it. No issues at all with the ergonomics. Tell ya where we get screwed, the fors line of machines looks useless for us!! No the t2 is so excellent. Shows me so much the vaquero left behind. 2019 will be great because of this machine. The 10x5 coil is fantastic for relic hunting old home sites.
