Re: Discrimination Settings Boost on T2 Classic & T2SE and Boost Process on T2SE

Many of you have probably been wondering as I have about whether or not the T2SE gets a signal boost at discrimination settings above 50 or below 10 like the T2 Classic does. The answer to this question is yes it does. As far as boost process the T2SE has it and the T2 Classic does not. The T2+ does have boost process. Boost process gets approximately 1 1/2 to 2 inches more in depth than the boost given by the above 50 or below 10 settings in discrimination mode. I obtained these results using the default sensitivity setting of 60 on the T2 Classic & the T2SE. The depth obtained in air tests using above 50 and below 10 discrimination were almost identical on the T2 Classic & T2SE. The discrimination settings I used were 53 & 0. I used the round 5" DD Teknetics T2 gold nugget coil in my tests on both detectors. I also used the tone setting of 4.
