Got mine with a turn around time of two weeks. Haven't used it yet, but have it in case I do make it to TVA land.

I have found 6 gold rings since they dropped the water for the winter. I hunt Watts Bar swimming areas. The wedding band in front and far right I found a year ago but it was the match to the engagement ring I found a couple of weeks ago at the same swimming area. That engagement ring in the pic by itself has a 1/4 carat diamond in it and the jeweler said it would retail for $1200.00

Now this is the way it should be in and at all Federal and State Parks! If the TVA can do it why can't the others?

Re: Here's a link to apply for a free TVA land metal detecting permit
Although a TVA permit is a must have it is pretty limited as to where you can detect(TVA managed swim areas, boat ramps and campgrounds).Relic hunting with a detector is off-limits.Relics found by eye on top of the ground are game.Beaches and campgrounds located in state parks, although on TVA lakes, are also off limits. We need to get organized and try to change the state part.Every time you see your local representive bring this up!!DBULL
No matter where you go,there you are.
