Old Plaza or Mall Near Monteagle?

Anybody know of an old mall or plaza near Monteagle? I hiked there with my dad as a young boy. All I remember is a large open plaza in the woods. It was surrounded by columns and reminded me of an ancient temple. I travel through Monteagle a lot these days and thought it might be worth checking out.

No i haven't but i am up there a couple of times a year , will look around see what i can find out.
