    Thanks!

I'm actually not that far away (N. Ala) and I have nevery heard of any problems, as long as you get permission from the landowner. As long as you have their permission I wouldn't go advertising what you're doing though, and as a goodwill gesture I would donate some of what you find to the landowner. PM me if you want to talk.

Yeah, I always get permission, and usually donate some of my finds to the landowner. I just didn't want to walk in to some kind of city ordinance lawsuit or something of that sort. I live in Pulaski, so I always check before I hunt a site out of town.

    Got to cover thy own!

    Thanks!

Hunt not to far from there,Be sure you have permission. Some guys dug a site on some land I lease and the owner swears he sees a metal detector in his fields he will shoot. They left a mess and did not fill one hole. I think he is serious. This is on the Franklin county border Not Franklin,Tn.
Good luck we always did good in Pulaski. Nice little town good deer hunting too.

I hear there is a group of Night Hunters over in that area. That is what makes it hard on everybody else. We have night hunters here too, but we turn them into the police when we see them.
