    Anyone in the Maryville area???

I'm heading down from Rhode Island from 5/16-5/24 to see my mom she lives in Townsend. Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to find some Civil war items. I hunt mainly Revolutionary war items. I've never found anything civil war and thought it would be fun. I'm not looking to hunt anyone's areas just point me in the right direction and I can take over from there. Thanks!!

Some of the guys from the local Knoxville clubs (SMARTS) are relic hunters and pretty open to taking folks along with them. Try asking at their forum: S.M.A.R.T.S. CLUB FORUM - Index
Its kinda slow there as one of the members gets drunk and acts out pretty regularly to the point that he runs off posters that aren't in his clique (or so they told me once).
