I'm in Murfreesboro too, moved here not too long ago. Don't know anything about Middle Tennessee or the areas around it. Anyone got any suggestions? Don't have a metal detector yet either, but I like learning about the history of places I move to.

Limited opportunities in tn due to state protection of civil war relics. Best to have some private land to hunt. you plan to get a detector soon?

Will be moving to Shelbyville in mid October 2018. Have a house on Riverbend Country Club Road. Use an AT Pro and will be leaving McDonough, GA Any information on Shelbyville and the surrounding area would be aoppreciated. I am retired Navy Seabee and Retired High School teacher
