Re: DeLeon Has Arrived
I bought my first MD last year a "Famous Trails" sold at Radio Shack. It worked and was like a toy. The thing hit everything or nothing.
6 months ago I bought my first "real" MD on Ebay, it is a Vintage 1980's Tesoro Golden Sabre.
Almost 32 years old and still works great on coins and relics.
I spoke to the Tech at the prescott,Arizona Tesoro Company they informed me it was missing a Battery cover and I told them I also needed the retainer plastic "flare pins". They mailed a new battery cover and holder FREE! They also told me I could mail it to them for them to do a check up... FREE! What great Customer service! Good Luck with your DeLeon, hope you have many years of adventure and great finds.

Re: DeLeon Has Arrived
DeLeon is a great detector, would love to have a 10 x 12 coil like that.

The Deleon is a great machine, i've owned 7 through the years and always got a first, you won't like it with a 12 x 10 coil throws everything off kilter now if you can locate one go with a older style 10.5" donut the one i had worked great and was deep and another thing about this machine i liked to was that if there was a hot rock around it give a tone off like none other, you new espeacially in all metal mode, have got great finds with mine in the past
always on the quest of finding the machine that fits me!
