    Tejon ground Balance Question...

I was wondering how fast to move the coil up and down when balancing. When I move it slower like 2 seconds down and 2 seconds up I can get it right on. But if I go faster it seems like it's either positive or negative. Does it matter how fast the coil is moved up and down when balancing?

Also. I have read (online) where a couple people get the machine balanced and then turn a 1/2 turn toward the positive. Is there any advantage to doing this?

    Thanks.

I have not timed mine, however sometimes I can get it right on and others it will be pos or neg as you say. When that happens I go to slight pos. I think turning it a half turn either way would be counter productive. I have my best luck as I mentioned.

You shouldn't move it real fast, but more important is to keep the coil level all the way up and down. As John says, turning it a half turn to Pos. is no help. You can run it a might Positive but not that much.
