Tiger Shark - old vs new

I am curious if the new Tiger Sharks are exactly like the old ones. Is there any difference besides the hard wired coil?

I don't have the newer one that is hard wired and from what I understand everything else is the same. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Re: Tiger Shark - old vs new Thanks, Sandman

I posted on two forums and in three places and nobody had anything to say. Thanks, for getting back with me. I just one that was purchased two years ago, put together and tested, but never used. I have read some good things about them and I am eager to give the Tiger a whirl. I plan freshwater hunting this year at the site of an old beach.
