Some days you do good and some days you don't.

I had one of those days you don't do so good.

Went to a park next to a large lake. Had never been there before. Talked to a guy there hunting for indian artifacts by the shoreline, says he has seen detectorists out there all the time. Oh that's just great, I thought. Well, they did a pretty good job because at the end of the day all I had was three pennies, a ton of pulltabs, and plenty of mosquito bites because dummy me left the house without insect repellant.

Man, hope you guys had a better day than I did!

I didn't get to go hunting but probably got just as many mosquito bites. I snagged me a couple fine BBQ ribs and potato salad at a picnic. Wonder who those people were?
