Broken Cortez ?
Have a new Cortez, had it for about 5 weeks tops now. Are Square pop-tabs supposed to read as a 95? Have had this happen more than a few times now.

Re: Broken Cortez ?
if there the aluminum type yes they will but should jump around a little more than a coin would and sweep quick over it if not sure usually there will be a crackle at the end of the tone which will give a indication of a tab
always on the quest of finding the machine that fits me!

Re: Broken Cortez ?
Just because they are a tab they are a different size and therefore more conductive, hence the higher numbers.
