Large SEF coil or the 10x12 on a Cibola.

    Yeah.... Im coil shopping.

I need to get a DD coil for this thing. I get on a hilltop and iron ore gets a little hotter. Im hoping to cut through some of that.... and to be honest... I wouldnt mind picking up some depth in the process.

I hear alot of good and bad about SEF.... you love em or hate em it looks like.

I havent found much at all on the Tesoro coil. The lady at Tesoro told me that it is meant to switch out without problems....but if I get married to it, might be good to send it in and get it tuned up.

What experiences have you had with these coils on Cibola or HOT circuitry?

    Hi Lake,
If you are going to get a bigger coil on the Cibola, Regardless of who you buy from, You need to send it in to us so we can tune the coil to the machine!

What I was gonna say.........So many people think that because it is a coil, it will work on any detector fine which is not the case. The detectors must be tuned to each coil.

sounds like that is the plan then.... get coil...have it tuned up.

What kind of depth do you fellas reckon I'll gain with the Tesoro coil?

Well... I got me the Tesoro coil.

OMG....this thing is a monster. Easily picks up another 2" in depth on air test.... and strangely... picks up 3" more on my gold rings.

    my mind is blown.

I'll send it in soon and have Tesoro sign the wedding certificate.
