    Cibola

Any one know which way you turn the pot on the ground adjust.
All i find on here is stuff about adding a ground balance and i don't want to do that i just want to fine tune it
    for my area.

Going inside to adjust the preset pot voids the lifetime warranty. Why would you want to do that? The Cibola is sold as a turn on and go detector. Some have added ground balance and voided the warranty when they could have bought a Vaquero. If you need more ground adjustment you can send it in to Tesoro for adjustment and balance to the coil.

Ok what would you guys do?
In all metal the threshold goes silent over my ground.
I am getting about 4 inches in the ground.
Just cant keep on buying new Detectors.
Dont think that tesoro could tune it to my ground, I doubt that Vince is going to
fly out here to the northwest to fix it LOL.

I am happy i still have my Bandido IIumax and did not sell it or i would be dead in the
    water.

Well you can go get a large flat rate box from the post office. You can ship up to 75lbs in a flat rate box. Take and cut out a large square soil sample, with grass to hold it together like a big piece of cake, not all falling apart and such and put it in a plastic bag and put it in the box. Give tesoro a call and tell them what your doing and ship the soil to tesoro. Ship your detector also but in another box with a note in it referring to your dirt and tell them to set your cibola to the soil sample. That is what I would do. They may want return shipping to you on your detector but that should only be about 14 bucks. I am not sure what would be easier. Tim

you wont know until you try it one way and see a difference or not.

That cermet trimmer is a single turn. 240 degrees of rotation. (not full turn)
If you ever hit the big one detecting....follow the 3S rule. Shoot. Shovel and Shut up.
