    Golden uMax Hunt

Not much to show today, only had a limited time. I was hunting an urban field and despite the notching, was still digging a lot of foil and can slaw, so I switched to digging high tones only as the dirt was pretty hard to dig.

One odd thing I did notice about the Golden: crushed aluminum cans sound off on the high tone just like a coin.

Had a fairly good outing, about $1.50 in silver clad (i have the zinc pennies notched out).
He who fears digging trash will dig no treasure.

this is typical, aluminum is evil to us detectors plus its a non ferrous metal to so its going to ring pretty decent too, i still have a hard time on my rg 1000 but i 'm finding the the aluminum tone now so i can the by the ring plus the audio tone will pruduce a slight disc pop to indicate its not a smooth silver sound but sometimes i dig anyways because musket balls almost do the same things with me
always on the quest of finding the machine that fits me!
