    Vaquero Trouble

My Vaquero has started discing out pulltabs at the nickle mark and nickles at the foil mark. Not sure about other metals but I would think others are off. I am probably going to box it up and send it in for a checkup but was wondering if anyone has had the same problem. Not a bad problem because I am still digging relics but if something is out of tune, I wonder if I am losing depth. Please give your comments on this.

    Thanks
    Randy

This might be the cause.....Turn your disc knob all the way to the left (counter clockwise) and see if the knob turns past the stop. It might just be a loose knob on the shaft so it is not set where you want it to be.

Thanks Sandman, I checked the knob but it was tight. I did loosen it and turn it one click and everything seems to be in order now. Nickles, tabs and foil are all discing out in the right place now. Maybe somewhere in the past it got bumped and moved. I'll use it for a while and see what happens. Maybe this fix is all I need.
