Is the screen the reason your choosing the Cortes? If not there may be some better options in the Tesoro line for you.
How have you been hunting with the Etrac? My first trip I jumped right in and went to a homesite on my Uncles land in hopes of finding what I never could, and was very disappointed. I then went to a park with low trash but a lot of clad spots(perimeter of basketball court etc.) The way it locks on to stuff was amazing and after a few days of that I had it figured out,not mastered by any stretch, but ready for some more challenging locations, went back to the homesite and pulled an 1804 half cent, and a 1767 KGII from areas I had hit before.
