Some Have Said The Outlaw Has A Touchy Ground Balance,

Out for a short hunt today and I mean short, it started pouring rain. I did not find the new Outlaw hard or touchy to balance at all. Small moves positive or negative as needed and the detector balanced right up nice smooth easy and quick. I think some of the guys complaining are just over working the ground balance knob.

Happy Hunting To All, :tongue3:

Let s know how you are liking it. Sure have been thinking about one. Love my T2 but want something that is no so chatty and high strung to use in the trash and to keep as a back-up. Well one will be back-up depending on which one I like. There is no doubt about the T2 depth, but wanting a quiet running turn on and go as well as well. Thought about the Cibola but in this mineralized ground better get one with GB.

I think mine is easy to ground balance. Not touchy at all. EE

Don't have the Outlaw, but I have 4 manual ground Tesoros and once the setting is close it's best to tweak the knob by small increments.

Yep same here, slow and go and its good to go!! If you try to pump to fast you'll cause yourself problems. Also fresh batteries help.
By the way I like this machine better than my Vaquero. Pin pointing is laser sharp.

Same experience here... easy to ground balance and great pin pointing.
