Well Im not quite sure what you are asking , but I think you should start around Iron or Foil and listen very carefully to the sound of the detector when you pick up a target. Begin to slowly turn the knob up the scale until the sound goes away. At that point look at the knob and determine where the sound stops. Where it stops will give you an idea of what MIGHT be below the coil, remember at first you should dig every thing until you begin to understand the TESORO language. As with all languages the more we listen the more we understand! Be patient!! And after awhile you and your Compadre will understand each other! Trust your ears and the machine! Did it snap crackle pop? Or did it sound like a ray gun/cyborg?
Was it a faint sound or loud? Short or long? All these are the words that the Tesoro will use to try and tell YOU whats under the coil.
No one machine is ever 100% accurate!! They all " TRY " and tell you what they think they see .
When we can finally see through walls then we will all know exactly what we are digging until then dig it! Hope that helps!
