I've seen post where others have done it. May not be the perfect prospecting machine, but it'll work.

Sure luvsdux, and that's where the skill of the operator would come in to the picture... Having started out with manual ground balancing and not liking that my DeLeon is lacking and the fact that lobo is also lacking in that respect has influenced my thinking... Also the advantage of having the right coil for the task has proven to me anyway, to be often more important than the detector, at least for finding coins and jewelry!
