Hi all,

Treated myself to a new Vaquero for xmas. Took it to my honey hole today for its maiden run and this was the results. I have pulled a lot of silver out of this old closed down drive in with several of my other machines. Xp Deus, Compadre and At Pro. Very impressed with the Vaq. Think its a keeper for sure.

the vaq is a good machine. the only one i have ever used. been out with others that use more expensive units and i tell ya. i would not trade it with them. haha. only thing is, i wish it was waterproof.

I've been checking out the Tesoro machines for a few months now and I'm pretty impressed. So Cal is fairly dry most of the year so water isn't an issue. What were you running before your Vaq?

I still run all my machines just depends on the situation. Xp deus is my main than compadre and vaquero for parks and schools mostly. And at pro for rivers and rainy days. Love them all and have found great things.

the vaq is my first ever. i researched different machines for a while. was going to get a fisher F4 or 5. but when i came across some youtube videos about the vaquero, i bought it instead. very happy with it. go out with a few people sometimes. one with a bounty hunter 505, the other with an ace 350. for a laugh sometimes we check each others targets. even without a readout. the vaqs disc is better. that ace 350 is not bad though. but, like mine more.
