I would head to California, its a beautiful state and if you look for areas in the gold country you may have some luck finding a few nuggets large enough for the Tejon. Also the that Safari might find something too. Just stay away from Las Vegas and Disneyland, you will only loose gold at those two places.

I know a couple of guys in NorCal that have found a 4 oz, 2 2.5oz, a few 1oz, and a bunch of small nuggets.
