Looking for someone who has used both of these widescan coils on the Tejon.....I have the 11x8 RSD on my Tejon now and is a GREAT coil, just wondering if the bigger 10x12 is worth buying? Much depth gain over the 11x8? I have used the 12x10 on the Epilson machines, but not on a Tejon or Vaq.......Thanks.

Im no expert by any means but pinpointing I imagine would be harder comparing the two and if I was in your shoes, and you have detecting an area over already with the 11x8 RSD an looking to go deeper then yes. With the 11x8" you have already, I will go out on a whim on this with the 12x10 Monolithic not sure if you will likely even gain an 1" or 1 1/2 at most with that larger coil on average, if I am wrong please anyone let me know.

There is a recent post on this see link below.

I find no difference in depth with the two coils, and the 11" x 8" is lighter. :occasion14:

That was kinda my thoughts and i believe the 9x8 concentric would maybe be a better addition for its better discing abilities.....

I was thinking the same thing earlier. And glad Terry S pointed out the depth comparison out as well and hope that shed some light, as I was debating
on wether I would ever need anything more on my V then the 11x8 already, and smaller 5.75 CC I have, if I were to go another size it would be a 8" donut over a 9x8 CC though.

Here is the link on the 9x8 and 12x10 but you likely already read this.
