I'll have to pick one up when everyone has 'em in stock. Looks like a souped-up Silver. Nice to see a return of their classic 7" concentric, too!

Looks like a great starter or backup machine. The high/low ground setting is interesting and at least offers more flexibility than factory preset. After reading the instruction book online, I'd like to hear the audio on different targets.

I'm probably going to pick one up. It's cheap. I'll make a video if I do.

Looks like a very Impressive machine. There are some You-Tube videos out on it. Looks like it can do some tricky stuff. I may have to have one of these!

It seems that there is no "all metal" mode with this machine so... perhaps it's more of a Compadre upgrade, rather than a silver upgrade?

Not a traditional threshold based all-metal mode, if that is what you mean. It does have an ED-180 Disc. circuit which when set to Minimum is able to report on all metals.

For those that don't realize it, when you turn the Compadre on without adding any disc, you're in all metal.

So what are we saying this is not a 'true' all metal mode metal detector at the 6-o'clock position in the White zone? So isn't this close to the Silent Search All Metal mode like the Silver uMax then? There manual does state the majority of all metals will still be detected..will be interesting to see where small meteorites will be detected. What does this mean for a relic hunter?

Mine is in the mail, so I should know something more about the detector by Friday when I get it in my hands. If someone is wanting one in a hurry shoot me a PM, as of today I know were 3 Mojave detectors are in stock and ready to ship.

I predict that the Mojave is going to be a 'classic'.

I'm glad to see something new from Tesoro. This Mojave should appeal to any potential buyer that wants a simple, straight forward detector at a good reasonable price. Now, if they'd come out with an updated ID machine at a good price the lower end and higher end would be pretty well covered.

It appears Tesoro is trying to get a little bigger bite of the entry level market? I'm just saying that based on the price point.

Also Tesoro fans in general... " just because purchase" ..

I'd love to see a " legitimate " video on it when someone gets one.
