With the help of my grandson, did a 3 hour hunt this morning, with my DeLeon.
Still having to MD and dig with one arm. GS is a tremendous help. No kidding. He went bonkers when WE found the ring, charm, and wheat.
Totals: 27 modern pennies, 1 wheat penny, 3 dimes, a small charm, and a ladies ring.
Unfortunately, I don't believe the ring is silver. No writing on the inside. Still a ring, and still pretty.
Rang up as a quarter or dime. Solid.
Everything was found sensitivity 5, threshold just in the red.

Yeah I did , Tony. But didn't dig a lot of junk. I made my mind up, if the numbers jumped around, and the "single tone" was not a mid tone, I would pass. Studdering low tones and ringing like high tones, the DeLeon is telling you to find another target.
At least that sounds good, huh Tony...? Claiming to have this trash thing figured out, in a six month career, is pretty preposterous.

If the ring indication is a dime or quarter on the D, you can be pretty sure it is silver. That indication on my D is very accurate. I see you've really been enjoying the D. I've done quite will with mine at leastin part because it's so much fun to use so I grab it often.

Having a grandson to dig targets is a very useful accessory!

Bill, for an older man, there is nothing quite like the company of a little boy. Or girl. Especially when they are so sweet. You would do anything for them.

Yes, Vern, it sounds really good. I have not tried the Deleon. It's nice that it is finding you the goodies! You are doing great for just starting six months ago. Fast learner!
