I was just wondering how the Tejon would perform as a nugget hunter?

PaDweller,

I'll tell you right up front that I don't have any field experience gold nugget hunting. Being a Tesoro dealer,I do know their detectors. The Tejon and the Lobo both essentially run at the same freq. The big difference is that the Lobo has auto ground tracking and the Tejon does not. The Lobo also has preset modes for black sand and alkali ground conditions. I think the Tejon would make a good "crossover" detector for someone that hunts both coins relics, and nugget hunting. If you were to MOSTLY hunt for nuggets then the Lobo would be a better machine for that purpose. Joe
