I bought two books at Borders...one is called "Ghost Towns of Texas" and the second is "More Ghost Towns of Texas"...real unique names, huh? But they are pretty good books and give good directions to the town sites.

U.S. Treasure Atlas has a lot more than just ghost towns. Treasure stories, sites where others have made finds, general maps, etc. If you don't need the whole set, Texas is in Vol. 9. The Author is Thomas P Terry.
