Looks like the sheath is made of Iron, but I have'nt had too much time to really take a good close look at it. I found it the morning of my bro's wedding then had to take of the following morning, really early to catch a flight to NY. If you are wondering, I left it back in my home town in the care of my mother. Maybe I will get her to mail it to me. I still want to study it further.
