Detector(s) used
Fisher CZ-7, 1266X, Troy Shadow X-3, Tesoro Deleon, Silver Umax, Whites IDX-Pro (Mr. Bill's Mods), Silver Eagle, Modded Classic 1,
Traded for a lightly Used Safari, hoping to open up some of my old spots.
Went out today for a couple hours today.
Got an Iffy signal with just enough of a high tone to make me dig.
In the hole was foil and a nickle stuck to the back of a silver quarter.
Pretty good first Hunt with a machine I have never used before.
Switched from CZ to Safari
You can see where the nickle was stuck to the back of the quarter.
I think I'm going to like this new detector

The coins were at 8" with foil on top.
Thats why the VDI was so jumpy but the tone was the givaway.
I think this detector is going to be good for rooting out deep and masked targets.
Of, Course I'm using the factory pre-sets, it will be awhile before I reach the full potential with this machine.
But I will say, It's as close to a turn on a go Explorer as you can get.

Cant belive you gave up that bullet proof CZ, Nice Finds.
That ring I dug last weekend was with the minlab on dry ground, it was about the lowest foil sound I could of gotten, we did a check on our gold rings we had on (both mens bands) and this dainty womens ring was way lower, the mens bands were closer to a nickle.
