Northeast Wise County for us. About 10 miles north of Decatur. The wife and I really enjoy MDing old farm houses, old abandoned homestead sites, and whatever else we can. Now that it's getting to be cooler weather, I'll be able to get out more with her and get used to my new AT Gold.

UncleBuck, are you in Alvord? I get out that way quite a bit. I hog hunt all around there with a buddy...you might happen to know him, he's a plumber and outdoor 'personality'.

I'm proud of myself. First time I've gotten this many responses to a thread I started! Haha

I swear it's just cause us Texans are always looking for a reason to announce our roots... NOT THAT WE NEED ONE!

Titus County...Mount Pleasant specifically...Looking for an experienced partner I can "go to school" on.

Just received my AT pro and am itching to get out and put it to use.

Even though I don't particularly like to, I go by myself from time to time. But we have so many feral hogs around here I'm almost forced to carry a pistol and I'd rather not if I can help it. I know I ain't got nothin' by TH Kit that'll stop them. It sometimes gets a little scary near the end of the day and you start seeing signs of them and can hear rustling in the bushes.

I'm also looking for any pointers anyone can offer.

So hit me up if you're looking to hunt and can't find a companion.

Yeah buddy, I'll crash your site. I regret the day internet service came to Baja Oklahoma. For a good learning exercise on your computer, type in 'OU'. (It will be a humbling experience, too) Good to see y'all have gotten a grasp on the English language, Tejanos! Alright, I like to rag on Tejas, but a lot of my family is from down around Houston and Dallas County charles west roseberry1834.jpg . I am the only native born Oklahoman y'all know that walked into the Alamo, took his hat off, and just almost cried through the whole tour. (Hey, John Wayne got killed there) If it wasn't for Texas, I wouldn't be here. And if I ever leave the mountains, I want to move down around Mobeetie. Great country and a lot of history there. And this is my Great-great grandpa, b. 1834, who left Arkansas for a way more better life in Tejas. And part time Texas Ranger, although I can't find him listed in any of the rosters.

Haha there is always an Okie around to chime in when Texans are busy being proud!

The feeling is mutual, RGINN.
I love Oklahoma and the history that comes with it.
And you have some family history to be proud of for sure!

I always get peeved when tourist in the chapel don't realize it is a shrine, and they have their rowdy kids running around like a bunch of heathens screaming and such.

For what it's worth, it's not so much we "got a grasp on the English language"... It's more of a "We got the state to publish school textbooks with how we think the English language SHOULD Be!" Haha!

Lastly, Mr. RGINN, your signature.
Anyone who references Radney Foster is welcome around my campfire anytime.

Hey anyone around San Antonio wants a partner I could use some people to hunt an AMAZING place I found, it's a very large area but a ton of WW2 history. I have found silver several times at this location.
