Texas Treasure Show 2008
Anyone been before? Is it worth the trip from the Houston area?

Kileen is in central Texas about 200 miles from houston, I went last year It was pretty cool I dident do the hunt just went to the convention hall and looked at the booths they do have some siminars for diffrent kinds of detectors,I'll probaly go this yr and see about a Minlab siminar

ABSOLUTELY worth the trip especially if it is your first. More is if you sign up for the silver hunt. Many prizes and door prizes @ the hunt. Most major manufacturers @ the show. HH Gayle

My wife and I are going to be there on Saturday - We have never been before but it looks like there is an abundance of information to be gained by going.

Went today and wish I would have brought the camera, some great stuff was there Unbelivable bunch of finds, on guy had 2 cases of custers unit stuff (7 th something), amazing finds, I dont think there's as many shields, seated's (alot of reals and capped bust also) and older coins on ebay at any givin hour than I seen at the show today..
Some great relics also, if any ones going tomorow take your Camera.

I went today and really enjoyed it. So many relics and coins to look at. The Garrett table was giving away some neat stuff. If you're in the area, you owe it to yourself to take a look.

All right rudy thanks, That top pic is the 7 calvary stuff from Custers troops, most folks will never get to see that units stuff, Very cool pics.
