Some times I am a "few clads short of a pocket spill" and I leave the house without something I could use. I finialy made a list. I thought I would post it to see what you think and tell me what I'm missing.

Detector ... DUH (maybe a spare if you have one)

Digging tools and probes

Pouch for tools

Pouch for finds

Pin pointer

Knee pads

Head phones

Cooler with hydration for the hunt and lybation for after

A towel or two

A change of shoes so the mud dosen't get in the truck

A hat & gloves

Sunscreen

Bug spray

Spare batteries

a small camera

Spare batteries

a milk jug full of water for post hunt hand washing and clean up

A note book to log the finds (mine's been pretty empty!)

Granted I don't carry all this in a back pack. Most of it stays in the truck.

Any additions or thoughts would be great!
