My friend had hip replacement quite a while back. He was an unhappy camper for a few days. Now he says it was all worth it. Good Luck and Godspeed.

Re: Prayers for Scuba Mike
Mike is Home!
Thanks so much for all the great support! I got home late Thursday night and am trying to get caught up on the e-mails and posts. The Doc said the surgry went well and i currently have a shiny new walker. I call her Mz Legs! (In Texas we name everything...my truck is Mz. Lady) pretty sick huh?
Any way I have a bruse the size of a 2 liter drink bottle on my hip and 6 staples in the center. The doc will remove them on the 14th. I still plan on detectin' again before year end. Please beware I am still on some pretty cool drugs and have a lot of recupe time. This means I will be postin' even more uesless crap than normal!
Hey group, thanks again for the nice posts.

Re: Prayers for Scuba Mike
Hello, Scubamike,
Glad to see you home after your surgery. After a bit you will be really glad you had it done. I had a total knee
replacement 4 years ago. I am thankfull that I had it done because the knee works so much better now without all the
pain that was there before the replacement. You just have to take it a little easy for a while and pay attention to what
they tell you in therapy. That is VERY IMPORTANT for a total and strong recovery.
Will pray for a full and speedy recovery for you,
Ray karenray08
