Been away a while

Hey all! Been away quite a while. Of course, I wasn't detecting trough the winter. Haven't been out this year either. Last year was a heck of a year.

My ex died early last year, and I am still looking for a full time teaching job. That and my back has gotten worse, not better. The constant pain has me afraid to go out this year. Well, that and the fact that I pretty much got skunked last year and found nothing except some items of dubious value. Was really hoping for at least my first silver or some lost rings. Still haven't been able to go up to the old coach stop and the old cider mill. Maybe I can get up there at some point thise year.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am not dead, and while I am in a lot of pain, I still plan to get out there at some point! So many things I would like to get to update my hobby, but if I never make any finds that will never happen!
