Good Grief! Looks like she isnt in too much pain by that great smile! Hope she mends well and quick....will keep her in our prayers that her surgery goes well!

Oh she'll bounce back. LOL She's got two brothers to still pick on. Didn't talk to the dr., she was already wrapped up when I got there but what I could piece together, possibly it was a slight compound fracture between wrist and lower forearm.
moms gonna ask for a water cast so she can still go swimming! Jacob is supposed to get his pins wet in chlorinated pool water so this way she can still keep up!

My Lord if it ain't one thing it's another with them kids. My kids scared me to death when they were growing up but it always came out ok. Kirsten will be alright and someday tell her grandkids about this. She's tough. If it would have been me takin a header off that ladder, maybe one of y'all would put up a little something about me in that 'In Memory' post they got on here. Hang in there, MG!
She cried her mom said when she came in the house to tell her about it but, the cry was more like not a pain cry then hes dad started sayin look at her arm then I got a call " they're headed to ER " Prayin not broke but, lookin at it we knew and there was this little bitty broken skin spot smaller than a pea and the look that passed between the xray techs we knew it was a break we are praying that they can just set it and not have to do any cutting! And that the Good Lord is working thru the Dr. s hands especially this Dr.
But then her eyes were just kinda teary the Dr in Er he was great he kept tellin her how brave she was no crying she just said ow..... ow ow ! Real soft amamzing!

1st thank-you all soooo much foe the prayers! i just got home from there house. They were going to set it at 12:30 but anestehia had a emergency so it was 1:30 ... done at 1:50 she was really tired and was glad to be home hurting a bit but. no complaining we knew she was hurting she wasn't hungry for the tater tots mom had got her. They were able to set it and re splint it for now next week they will put a cast on it a pink water cast! She wants to move it her self not anyone else to put on pillow and still all she will say as she does it is ow ow ow ow ow! real soft. I think I would be screaming shes so brave. Well please keep the prayers up for it to heal right.
Oh and the break is 2 breaks the forarm and wrist.
