I was at on of my picking place's and saw this at first thought it could be a fake,till i saw logo between the lugs.I pick for a living for last 7 years,but cancer got me and has almost put me out but recovery is slow but still pick when i can,i'll show a few finds.R.Weatherford

Nice picks! That Gruen is very nice. I picked a DY necklace and pendant last month and sold them for $330.00. Silver and 14k. Currently in the hunt for a 18K earring set similar to yours. Its in an auction and I'm hoping no one noticed it enough to pay spot. His stuff sells better than Tiffany & Co. jewelry! And sometimes for more $$!

I'm sure most folks here will tell you that they are still learning. Its like life...constant learning. Example...When Guardians of The Galaxy was released, that movie sent the price/value of the Sony portable cassette player above $500.00. If you had picked one, you could have made a quick killing. Now that the brouhaha has died down, the prices are going back down too. Its education, and timing, and sometimes just luck!

My newest find.I answered a ad for a omega watch for sale for 500 seller stated he had a 1960s 18kt omega automatic for 700--in short bought both for 900.Now the 1960s turned out to be the/or one the holy grails of OMEGA.it''s a 1946 Omega automatic "bumper"chronometer 28.10 RA JUB ref 2499 only 2000 were made,pre/first centenary OMEGA made the dial,hands,markers also solid 18kt gold-case weights 23 grams without movement.Book is over 5,000-one just sold e-bay for 3,900. OMEGA "FIRST EVER"AUTOMATIC BUMPER CHRONOMETER

Took total 12 -20 years it'a an Art kind of the biggest thrill is the finding it not so much worth.Its a love of the hunt.I use books,google a lot to research.The key is that there are a lot of great find floating around every DAY just finding them.After some of my cancer treatments slow's down i'm gonna write a book on the art of the hunt-true pick for the find.
