Necklace maker ID mark help needed.

I know I have seen this one before but I have no clue. Anyone know what it is? It's 1/20th 14 k and I paid $2.99. Didn't have loupe so I was hoping it was 14k. It's marked 14/20. Thanks in advance for any help!![emoji4]

Nobody has seen this one? Any ideas for me to search? The mark reminds me of something I have seen in farming or animal feed but I know that's not what it is.

It's gold filled (or plated). Any time you see 20/14, 20/12, 1/20 14K, those are all gold filled.

Thanks Mugs. I figured out it was GF as soon as I looked under the loop. Any idea on the makers mark on the fob thingy?

While Gold Filled, the Gold Filling is quality and will endure long after Gold Plating. Items marked 14/20 14k which is actually 1/20 14k, means that the Gold layering on the pieces account for 5% of the total weight of the metal. Therefore, if the item's total weight is 20 grams, then the 14k Gold on it weighs 1 gram. From the appearance of the O.P.'s piece of Jewelry, I would say that the 14k Gold on it, is worth much more than the $2.99 paid.

2Minnesota, go to the library, and see if they have this book ... American Jewelry Manufacturers: Dorothy T. Rainwater: 9780887401206: Amazon.com: Books. I got an interlibrary loan, and paid $3. I was able to look up a bunch of jewelry before I sent it back. (I personally did not think it was worth $53 to buy it, and you can't find it used for cheap.)
There are also several sites for vintage hallmarks.

is one, and American Silver Marks O - Online Encyclopedia of Silver Marks, Hallmarks & Makers' Marks is another. Sorry, they link to what page I had bookmarked, rather than the main page. There is also a site, Morning Glory, but I don't have that one bookmarked.

Thanks Mugs! I have searched many sites. I am still searching. I thought it was an obvious one that I just couldn't find. Haha. Guess it's a tough one!! The search will continue and I will try the links you provided.

I just looked at both of the links and they are ones I have searched already but I could've missed it. I'm going to guess the maker isn't anything to fancy or the symbol would be listed somewhere.
