My weakness at Goodwill

The things that I can't keep from buying at Goodwill are jars of watches, good jewelry, and original artwork! I went to a particular store and they had an oil painting of what appeared to be a fishing scene with more modern (60s) boats. I passed because it was okay. Plus I couldn't find anything on the artist. The next day I went back because there was a worker putting out more art and I hoped there would be some good stuff vs the framed furniture store art. Got lucky as a woman put a nice piece down and walked away. Grabbed the piece and saw that there was another piece by the same artist on the shelf also. Didn't research it, just bought it because it was nice and some quality work. $5.99 each. Took a Best Offer of $500 from the U.K. Could have went for more, but I have 40+ framed pieces of art I need to sell! Making myself take the $$ and run.

Picked up another piece but it was in a silent Goodwill auction. Just wrote a bid of $50 and won. James Haylarr painted her in 1861... ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1489190562.139579.jpg

Haha! The first two paintings came from the "working class" Goodwill and the last painting was from the newly built Goodwill closest to the upper echelon communities. You just never know.

Took a Best Offer of $865 from a buyer in New Zealand. Awaiting payment. I used eBay Global Shipping so hopefully those extra fees won't scare him off!
