I just stopped by an ARC and see in the show case this Action Comics 1938 Superman No.1 issue. They're asking $149.00 for it. I didn't even bother to have a closer look. The original price on the cover reads 50¢ US, 70¢ CAN & 30¢ UK. That isn't what would be on the original price of this issue ?? I'm guessing it's a reissue? Would it be worth the price they're asking?

At first glance, it looks like a 1988 reprint. A closer inspection should confirm this. These are in demand, but I have no idea on a price point.

No kidding. Now some poor sap will buy it thinking it's one of the Holy Grails of comic books.
