Picked up this lot of wall hangers at Goodwill yesterday. They are made out of a red clay. The largest one has the remnants of a sticker on it but that's the only mark. I haven't been able to find out anything about them through eBay or Google. I've searched with these keywords in every combination I can think of: pottery wall plaques hangers Tiki Hawaii Tribal Aboriginal. Any help would be appreciated.

They look more Picasso than Polynesian. My opinion is they are not south or central Pacific in origin.

I agree. More Picasso than Hawaiian.

I thought about Picasso yesterday & did a brief search with no success. Guess I need to do an image search.

I just mentioned Picasso as an example. They look more like modern abstract than any kind tribal art.

Would have been nice if the previous owner left the sticker on the back.....

Sold the first one of these on auction yesterday for $172.50.

Amazing. I probably would have passed right by them. I just don't get modern "art".

Not exactly my cup of tea either. I only picked them up because they were unusual & I've learned that unusual and/or ugly sells. They do kind of grow on you after awhile so I may keep one.
