Seth Thomas Clock and Gold!

I picked up this $4.99 Seth Thomas clock because it was nice and because it had the little medical pin on top. My experience has shown these pins are usually 10k gold award pins. Kinda messed up the clock due to removal but it will still sell for about $60. And the pin was .90g of 14k!

Beautiful clock. I'm not sure the gold value was worth damaging it, but either way it's a great find.

It was superglued down and left a small circle. I might try something to clean up the spot. I should have posted a pick of the small spot it left behind.

Acetone usually works great getting rid of dried glue, however not entirely sure what it will do to the metal... Should be safe though

Nice! The main pencil I use is a "viagra" pencil with a huge chunk of 10k on it for some viagra thing/award/event. Even has 2 rubies in it! It is entertaining to use.

Sold the clock for $50 plus shipping. Scrapped the gold for $15. Not bad.
